Jesus fucking Christ. I'd just about gotten used to something, only to have the rug pulled out from under me again. It's not about me, it's nothing to do with me at all, and yet I feel like I'm the one being fucked with, here.

Funny, I've been sleeping reasonably well the past few days and yet right now I'm in that half-distraught state of mind that settles in after about three nights of insomnia, even though by rights, things should be going along a more positive spin than this chaotic nastiness.

This may be nothing more than the process of (re)adjusting to a prescription I had been taking until about...five...months ago, and have been put back on after not-quite two months of not being medicated at all. I won't swear to that, though, because this doesn't quite feel the same, and there's plenty of random external shit going on that I just don't know.

Meh, I can't think well enough to make sense of my own ramblings right now. I'll come back to this later.

I have heard of such magical places, but tonight was the first time I've ever actually been in such a bar as will, upon the bartender receiving a $20 tip, keep all five of us in drinks for the remainder of our visit to their fine dining establishment. Did a masterful job of keeping us buried in chicken wings, too.
